Step 3: Complete Your WFG Agent Agreement
BEFORE you complete Step 3, make sure to THOROUGHLY REVIEW STEPS 3-9 in order to understand the full process and expectations for having an active life insurance license!!!!!!

- This step will ask if you want to complete your Transamerica Life Company appointment process. Make sure to select "yes".
Step Four: Upon completion, text your SMD (or trainer) to let them know that you have completed your Agent Agreement so that the SMD can go in and approve your application and send it off to WFG for final review.
Step Five: During this step, it's a matter of being patient and waiting for WFG to approve your application. This can be quick or it can take some time (depending on WFG's workload).
Once you are approved, you should get an email welcoming you to the company. On occassion, the email may not get auto-generated. Similar to when your life license was under review with the state of Utah, we would encourage you to regularly check whether you can officially login to WFG's main website. You should be able to login with the same credentials that you were using for the WFG Launch website (WFG Agent # and current password).
Here is WFG's main website (www.mywfg.com). Save this for rest of your career

Step 7: Set Up E&O Insurance
What is E&O (Errors & Omissions) Insurance?
E&O insurance is professional liability insurance that protects you and your business against claims made by clients for inadequate work or negligent actions.
Who Requires E&O?
WFGIA and its product providers require E&O insurance coverage to do business with them as a licensed agent.
Who Is Required To Purchase E&O Through Marsh?
All agents who have an active license must purchase E&O insurance.
How much is E&O insurance?
The cost of E&O is dependent upon license type and can be paid on a quarterly or annual basis. See the table below for full pricing info.
License Type | Quarterly | Annual |
LL | $130 | $520 |
RR | $187.50 | $750 |
IAR | $250 | $1,000 |
How do I sign up for E&O?
Click HERE when you are ready to sign up for your E&O. Type in your WFG agent number and email address and it should automatically pull up your required coverage based on your licensing status. Select between an annual or quarterly auto draft option. There is no financial benefit to doing annually so choose the option that makes the most sense for you.
If you have any specific questions, contact Marsh at (800) 380-0451
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):
If I Do Not Have An Active Appointment Will I Still Be Required To Purchase E&O Through Marsh?
Yes, if you have an active license you are required to purchase E&O insurance.
There Are Two Payment Options Available (Quarterly Or Annual). Are There Any Other Options?
Not at this time. A one-off annual payment or quarterly installments are the only options available now.
